Short-term bond funds will lose money.

Short-term bond fund is a kind of bond fund. Like other fund products, the expected return on investment depends on the net value of the fund unit when investors buy and sell the fund. If the net value of the selling unit is lower than the net value of the buying unit, then the fund will lose money. Therefore, short-term bond funds belong to non-guaranteed floating expected income products, and fund contracts generally do not promise to guarantee the capital and the minimum expected income. Theoretically, there is a risk of principal loss.
