NJVA Volunteers Association is a city-wide social organization composed of people from all walks of life who volunteer to engage in social welfare undertakings. It is a non-profit social welfare organization approved and registered by Nanjing Civil Affairs Bureau, with the qualification of a social organization as a legal person and established according to law. The association consists of group members and individual members, and pursues the principle of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress". According to the national constitution, laws, regulations and relevant policies, the Association organizes and guides the city's voluntary service activities, advocates the spirit of volunteerism, promotes the concept of voluntary service, promotes the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and material civilization, and promotes the coordinated development and all-round progress of society.

The association accepts the business guidance of Nanjing Youth League Committee and the supervision and management of Nanjing Civil Affairs Bureau.
