Shan Shan's greatest concern now is the reunification of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. He did his best and did a lot of work for it. After living abroad for nearly fifty years, Shan Shan still keeps the habit of writing letters with a brush. "I love China culture, and I love my motherland." He said. On the morning of July 9, 28, the unveiling ceremony of the Single Voice Education Scholarship Foundation was held in front of Shan Yuhua's former residence. Vice Mayor Liu Li, district leaders Yang Jie, Sun Yaocan, Ye Haibo, Li Dongjin, Ji Yuping and Zhu Aijun, the Single Voice Education Scholarship Foundation and their families attended the unveiling ceremony.

Yang Jie, secretary of the district party committee, delivered a speech first. Yang Jie welcomed Mr. Shan Sheng and his family, and highly praised Shan Sheng's kindness in helping poor students.

Liu Li, vice mayor, delivered a speech afterwards. He pointed out that the Single Voice Education Scholarship Foundation is a bridge to contact overseas Chinese at home and abroad, a window for foreign economic and trade cooperation and exchanges in our city, and plays a positive role in promoting our education and economic development. Mr. Shan Sheng expressed his deep homesickness in his speech. He said that he came to Taizhou with his family this time in the hope of making positive contributions to the development of his hometown and striving to build it better.

At the first board meeting of the Single Voice Education Scholarship Foundation, Shan Sheng, Sun Yaocan and Ye Haibo were appointed honorary presidents of the Foundation, Xu Baoguo, Gu Yongbo and Lu Zhenyu were invited consultants of the Foundation, and Li Dongjin was appointed president.
