How do closed-end funds generally pay dividends?
Cash dividends, closed-end fund dividends are cash dividends, because the fund's share cannot be changed during the closed period, so only cash dividends can be paid, because dividend reinvestment will increase the fund's share. For example, if you hold 200 closed-end funds and the company clearly stipulates that every 10 dividend 1 yuan, then you can get the 20 yuan after the dividend.
The dividend method of closed-end funds defaults to cash dividend, which is paid directly to the fund account without manual collection. The confirmed amount of cash dividends of the fund = the fund shares entitled to dividends × the dividend amount distributed by each fund share.
The dividend distribution method of the Fund is as follows:
1 Open-end fund: cash dividend is the default, but for money market funds quoted at face value every day, the way of income distribution is generally agreed in the fund contract as dividend reinvestment, and income distribution is required every day.
2 Monetary Fund: default dividend reinvestment; cannot be modified.
3 Closed-end fund: cash dividend by default and cannot be modified.
4REITs Fund: default cash dividend. Please refer to the fund announcement for details.
After the fund pays dividends, it will be ex-dividend and ex-dividend, so the net value will be reduced. Net fund value after dividend = net fund share value not exercised on the registration date of dividend rights and interests-dividend amount of fund unit share.
