Feng Shizheng is from Zhongxian County, Chongqing. Professor, Department of Sociology, Renmin University of China, Vice President of School of Social and Demography, and Vice President of National Institute of Development and Strategy, Renmin University of China. It mainly studies political sociology, organizational sociology, collective behavior and social movements, legal sociology, mass incidents and letters and visits. The main research achievements are "Theoretical Research on Western Social Movements" and "Social Governance and Political Order in Contemporary China". He has won the second prize of outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences in Beijing and the second prize of the 1th Young Teachers Award (research category) of the Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation.
