Memorial hall of the main generals of the Red Fourth Front Army

The monument forest of generals in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet area was built on the top of Nankan Mountain. On the way up the mountain, you can see many red army propaganda slogans carved in stone.

Located at the western end of the Beilin Corridor, the memorial portrait garden of the main generals of the Red Fourth Army carved busts of ten main generals of the Red Fourth Army, including Zhang, Xu, Chen Changhao, Wang Shusheng, Li Xiannian, Ni Zhiliang, Zhang, Zhou Chunquan, Fu Zhong and Zeng, with red granite.

The statue is inlaid with black granite, and the design concept is concise and lively, with profound implications. The aspect ratio is designed according to the "golden section" method with aesthetic point of view in plastic arts. Under the memorial seat, three U-shaped steps represent the first, second, third and fourth armies, and the back is combined into a line, indicating that the three armies will be integrated after meeting. The statue is 1.5 meters high and 4 meters high. The front of the statue is engraved with personal resume, donation unit and inscription.

In front of the memorial garden are Xu (then commander-in-chief of the Red Fourth Army,1901-kloc-0/990, marshal), Chen Changhao (then political commissar of the Red Fourth Army, 1906- 1967) and Wang Shusheng (then red fourth army)

On the right of the four men is Ni Zhiliang, then chief of staff of the Red Fourth Army. Ni Zhiliang, 1900- 1965, 1955 were awarded the rank of lieutenant general.

On the left is a female Red Army. This is Zhang, director of the Political Department of the Red Fourth Army and the only female general in the history of the Red Army. Zhang, 1904- 1968, an outstanding representative of the first generation of revolutionary new women of our party, party member, the first generation woman of China * * * production party. After studying in Moscow for five years, she returned to China and became the only female political department director and the only female teacher in the Red Army. After liberation, she was also the first generation of female ministers in the Republic of China. Zhang's original husband was Shen Zemin, the younger brother of Mao Dun, a famous writer. 1932. After the Fourth Army left the base area of Hubei, Henan and Anhui, Shen Zemin stayed and persisted in guerrilla struggle, but unfortunately he died the next year. 1in July, 936, before the Red Fourth Army crossed the grass for the third time, Zhang married Chen Changhao, the general political commissar of the Red Fourth Army. Later, because Chen Changhao's original wife Liu Xiuzhen found Yan 'an, her marriage with Chen Changhao existed in name only. Later, she married Su Jingguan, an old comrade-in-arms of the Fourth Army. After the founding of New China, she served as Deputy Minister of Textile Industry for a long time.

On the right of these six people is Zhou Chunquan (1905- 1985). After the Fourth Army arrived in the Sichuan-Shaanxi Border Region, Zhang first served as the director of the General Political Department of the Fourth Army. Later, he was retaliated by Zhang's mistake and was transferred to the general hospital as the director of the political department. 1February, 936, Zhou Chunquan was appointed as the director of the General Political Department of the Red Fourth Front Army. In March, he was transferred to the political commissar of the Red Thirty-first Army, and 1955 was awarded the rank of general.

From left are Fu Zhong and Zeng, deputy directors of the Political Department of the Red Fourth Front Army. Fu Zhong (1900- 1989), a senior general of China People's Liberation Army. 1955 was awarded the rank of general and won the first-class August 1st Medal, the first-class Medal of Independence and Freedom and the first-class Medal of Liberation. Zeng (1904- 1983), a native of Hubei (now Hong 'an County), was a general of the Red Army of Chinese workers and peasants, and later served as vice minister of commerce of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Zhang's statue was placed 1 m lower than the platform where the statue of nine people was placed, which showed his later ending. Moreover, his statue is opposite to other statues, which shows that their views are different. However, Zhang's position is at the beginning of the forest of steles corridor, which symbolizes that he is the main leader of the Red Fourth Army. On the front of the statue is engraved: General Political Commissar of the Red Army, representative of China; A biography is engraved on the back.

Beilin gallery

Next to the memorial park of the main generals of the Red Fourth Army is the forest of steles corridor. The forest of steles corridor is the main project of the total forest of steles, with three places. Mainly for the Red Fourth Army soldiers carved personal memorial tablets. Centered on the Memorial Elephant Garden, the promenade twists and turns from side to side, built on the mountain, with a total length of nearly 800 meters and a corridor width of 6 meters. At the top of the golden glazed tile gallery, there is an octagonal pavilion at the corner. The monument is engraved with the resumes and heads of Red Army soldiers, as well as the names of spouses and descendants or the names of donors. The whole corridor is very spectacular. Up to now, more than 3,280 individual memorial tablets have been embedded in the corridor.

Outside the forest of steles corridor, there is also a fighter plane "J-6" and the second door "Sanqi" anti-aircraft gun.

At the corner of the forest of steles corridor, there is a sign monument. The monument is 10 meter high, with the flaming revolutionary torch at the top and triangular and hexagonal shuttle heads at the lower end. The first and second faces are composed of "Star Forest in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area" inscribed by General Zhang Aiping and the flag of the Red Fourth Front Army. Third, there are inscriptions by General Secretary Jiang Zemin: "The Long March Monument will last forever" and Mao Zedong's evaluation of the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base area: "The Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area is the second largest area of the Chinese Soviet Union"; The fifth and sixth aspects are the Road Map of the Battle Course of the Red Fourth Front Army (1927— 1937), which includes the establishment of the Shaanxi Revolutionary Base from Qiliping to Beichuan, Sichuan, and the distance from 1935 when the Red Army started its long March to Xingxingxia.

Sculpture of "Red Army Soul"

The sculpture of "Red Army Soul" was built by Zhao Xinping, the grandson of Zhao Ming Xing, an old Red Army in Tongjiang, and the director of the seventh engineering department of Beijing Tianhua No.4 Company, with a donation of 50,000 yuan. It is like a mountain instead of a mountain, like a landscape, like a sculpture of a person instead of a person. It is built by combining abstraction with imagination, motion with stillness, and by backlight projection. The Red Army is the predecessor of China People's Liberation Army. Moral: "Army" is a brave and invincible people's army. The "soul" is not only the soul of soldiers, but also the soul of the army, and it is the "soul" that determines the outcome of the war. Next to the "Soul of the Red Army" is a memorial statue of Liu Bojian martyrs. Liu Bojian,1895 ——1935, an early revolutionary activist in China, was born in Pingchang, Sichuan. He used to be the director of the political department of Gannan Military Region and the secretary-general of the Central Military Commission. 1935 was killed by the enemy in Dayu, Jiangxi. There is a famous posthumous work, Walking with Chains. Liu Bojian Martyrs was written by Comrade Deng Xiaoping. Statue modeling, dressed in a suit, holding a book in his left hand, his right hand in his trouser pocket, standing on the top of a mountain, his eyes staring into the distance, suggesting his foresight in the revolutionary cause. Always study hard for the development of the revolution and meditate on the difficult situation of the revolutionary struggle. Yonggui Li, Secretary General of Shanghai Yongjunyoushu Foundation, donated 80,000 yuan to build the Elephant Garden.

Further away from the Liu Bojian Martyrs Memorial Statue, there is a monument to the Red Army soldiers. The monument of the Red Army soldiers is located on the north side of Beilin Garden. The main monument is a tetrahedron with a height of 9.7 meters. It means that the foundation of the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base area is the Red Fourth Army, and the monument was built in 1997 when Hong Kong returned to the motherland. The names of the Monument to the Red Army Soldiers in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area were inscribed by General Li Zhen and General Zhang Zhijian respectively. The height of the monument is 1 2.23m, which means that the four counties of Tong, Nan, Ba and Ping120,000 people joined the Red Army, and the Soviet regime was established in 23 counties (cities) of1province (Bazhong120,000 children joined the Red Army, among which 40,000 died). This monument was built with the help of Mr. Yonggui Li, Secretary General of Shanghai Yongjunyoushu Foundation, who donated 654.38 million yuan.

The Memorial Hall of General Forest of Steles and the Memorial Hall of General Forest of Steles in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area were completed and opened to the public on July, 2005 15. The memorial hall echoes the "stewardess forest in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet area" and is designed according to the style of residential buildings in northern Sichuan. Covering an area of more than 4000 square meters, it is divided into three exhibition halls. More than 2,000 commemorative items donated by more than 300 old Red Army, as well as 100 inscriptions and inspection photos of more than central leaders and senior generals of our army are on display in the museum.
