1. Comprehensive control of desertification in Minqin, Gansu. In order to effectively curb the deterioration of Minqin's desertification, defend and expand the area of Minqin's oasis, gradually turn the desert into an oasis, and make contributions to the goal of "never let Minqin become the second Lop Nur" set by the Prime Minister, in accordance with the requirements of "high starting point planning and efficient management", we will build a world-class, international "China Desertification Comprehensive Control Science and Technology Industry Demonstration Park" with comprehensive desertification control, and manage 1 million mu of desertification land in eight years to effectively curb Minqin's desertification. The specific objectives are: (1) to build a 1, mu sand seedling breeding base; (2) Control and eliminate the 66-brother sandstorm mouth; (3) Harnessing 6, mu of quicksand along the oasis; (4) Harnessing 1, mu of desertified farmland and 1, mu of salinized farmland; (5) Focus on controlling the desertification of Qingtu Lake and building a biomass energy planting base.
2. graphitization control in Yunnan. The rocky desertification control branch of China Desertification Control Foundation follows the strategic principle of "controlling desertification and developing industrialization", focusing on controlling rocky desertification in Fuyuan County, cold desertification in Jiulong County and debris flow in Dongchuan District, and cooperating with the national strategy of moving silkworm eastward and developing the west, focusing on developing sericulture industry, konjac industry, olive industry and biopharmaceutical industry with Yunnan characteristics, which has explored a feasible way for controlling rocky desertification in karst areas of China.

The China Foundation for Combating Desertification has organized experts and leaders to visit Ordos, Alashan, Xilingol and Xing 'an League successively.
