Cartier is a French luxury brand.

The products it operates include: jewelry, watches, leather goods, fragrances, etc. In 1847, Louis-Fran?ois Cartier founded the Cartier brand at 31 Rue Montorgueil in Paris. In 1874, his son Yafa Cartier inherited its management rights.

His grandsons Louis Cartier, Pierre Cartier and James Cartier developed it into a world-famous brand.

In 1904, he designed the world's first wrist watch, the Cartier Santos watch, for pilot Alberto Santos. In 1994, the Cartier Contemporary Art Foundation moved to 261 Avenue Raspail, Paris.

In 1992, the Cartier Art Exhibition opened in the wealthy Hermitage Museum, seeking to reinterpret the splendor of a bygone era: the Kokoshnik tiara, antique pieces, and the gorgeous enamels displayed in the historic main audience room of the Palais Saint-Georges.
