Closed-end funds cannot be withdrawn in advance. Closed-end funds enter a closed period after their establishment, and they cannot be purchased or redeemed during the closed period. If a closed-end fund has a regular open day, it can be withdrawn on the regular open day. If there is no regular open day for closed-end funds, they can only withdraw after the fund expires. The fund cannot be redeemed during the closed period, but it does not mean that the fund cannot be traded at all during the closed period. Investors can sell their fund shares in the secondary market (most closed-end funds will be traded in the secondary market). Trading these funds like stocks, as long as investors in the market are willing to buy, they can sell.
Closed-end financial management can be redeemed in advance in the following two ways:
1) Closed-end wealth management products cannot be redeemed in advance, but in order to solve the problem that some investors need to withdraw funds in advance, many companies have introduced the function of "wealth management transfer", so investors can transfer unexpired products to others, so that they can withdraw funds in advance. At present, banks or securities companies generally have the function of transferring money in financial management. If there is no transfer function, they can only withdraw funds in advance by holding them at maturity.
2) If you buy a closed-end fund for wealth management, although the product can't be withdrawn in advance before it expires, part of the funds can be transferred to the secondary market for trading, and investors only need to go through the transfer custody procedures on the platform they buy. Tip: Before transferring custody, investors need a stock account, and they should ask the seat number of the account opening broker in the exchange. When transferring custody, they need to fill in the seat number.
1. If closed-end funds are listed and traded on the stock exchange, investors can transfer them through the brokerage platform. If closed-end funds are not listed and traded on the stock exchange, then investors can not only continue to hold them, but also can not conduct any transactions during the closed-end period. Investors can only wait until the end of the closed period before selling the fund. Closed-end fund refers to closed-end fund. Closed-end funds are closed after their establishment, and no operation can be done during the closed period. If you want to purchase and redeem, you need to wait until the fund is listed and traded or open regularly.
