1. Evanston Campus
Northwest University's Evanston campus widens along the northern part of Hunan Province, Michigan. At the northern end of the school is the Student Union Building, Henrik Ron Gymnasium and other sports facilities, polytechnics, astronomy and other science-related buildings, including the Ford Motor Company Design Center. To the south are the Historical and Cultural Building, the Song Building, the Art Building, and the Women's Student Union Building. It is also the campus rebuilt by 1960, which is close to downtown Evanston. The campuses of the North Campus and the South Campus constitute two different cultures and arts.
2. Chicago campus
Northwest University's Chicago campus has a medical school (its ward building is the first skyscraper for academic research in the United States), a hospital clinic, a law school, a part-time business school, and a graduate student who gives night and Sunday courses to people in the industry. Colleges and universities have an excellent geographical location, surrounded by bus stops and football fields. There are many bus lines between the two campuses for students to communicate.
3. Nairobi campus
In autumn 2008, Northwest University and five other American universities-Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, Georgetown University, Texas A&M University and virginia commonwealth university set up a campus in Doha Education City. The School of Journalism and Communication gives the corresponding bachelor's degree certificate. The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development supports the construction and labor costs, as well as the salaries of 50 to 60 faculty members, some of whom will visit three campuses here.
What is the difference between UCB and Stanford? 1. About teaching
Talent education and civilian education
Although there are many undergraduate graduates in Stanford University, Stanford is a typical small class, and it is a semi-rigid requirement of the school that experts and professors should contact and guide every student. After all, undergraduate graduates are the principals of the school or the future principals, and colleges and universities rely on their donations to operate.
As a public university, UCB is also a very typical large class. There are many classes in introlevel, with 400-500 students. Students can't sit down but sit on the floor. Even if advanced courses are included, classes with more than 100 students are normal. Facing students, UCB's expert professors are more playable.
2. Relevant students
Differences in network resources caused by family status
Most of Stanford's undergraduate graduates are well-off children, especially international students, who are mostly "rich second generation" and want to be admitted to Stanford's undergraduate course. The requirements for students' humanization are relatively high, so Stanford students are all little geniuses, with many honorary awards and rich theme activities.
UCB students are very divided. Although there are many talented students, most of them are children of ordinary middle-class families in this state. They don't have so much money and connections to help them, and they don't have the rich extracurricular activities environment like Stanford students.
3. About starting a business
The collision between dream and reality
Stanford has a strong entrepreneurial atmosphere. The college is located in the center of Silicon Valley, surrounded by large enterprises, and behind it is Dune Road. Every day, an entrepreneur successfully raises tens of millions of dollars. Moreover, many of Stanford's classmates stayed in Silicon Valley, which also brought great application to self-employment. Under such environmental hazards, Stanford students' entrepreneurial enthusiasm is very high, and each student has his own dream of success.
UCB students are more practical. Compared with Stanford's outstanding influence, UCB is located next to Oakland, which is the top three in American mythology. There are often vagrants and homeless people wandering inside and outside the campus, which also makes UCB students have a strong sense of responsibility and are not so keen on starting their own businesses to get rich.
One of the most important hazards is that most students in Stanford are top families. Even if they are heavily in debt, it will not have any impact on their future. At best, they just try to learn from experience. But for most UCB students, the investment risk is smaller.
