Sixth major research projects mainly include the sources of topics:

1. The discipline development strategy and priority funding areas determined by the five-year research plan of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education);

General research projects of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education (including planning fund projects and doctoral fund projects) and major projects of key research bases that have made important progress and are expected to make breakthrough progress through further refinement and increased support;

3. Major topics recommended by experts for urgent research in national economic and social development and discipline development.

The source and determination of the topic:

1. Major basic research topics and frontier issues that play an important role in promoting the development of disciplines;

2. In the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way, it is a major theoretical and practical issue related to the construction of socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization, which is strategic, forward-looking and overall;

3. Major theoretical and practical issues raised by implementing the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education.
