As of July 214, the Institute of Electronics * * * has two first-level postgraduate training centers and postdoctoral research mobile stations. It has formed two major disciplines (microwave imaging technology and microwave vacuum electronics technology) and five major disciplines (geospatial information technology, electromagnetic detection technology, advanced laser and detection technology, sensor and micro-system technology and programmable chip technology).

According to the official website of the Institute in October 215, many graduate students of the Institute of Electronics won the excellent doctoral thesis, the special prize of the Dean's Award, the Excellence Award of the Dean's Award, the Liu Yongling Award, the pollyanna chu Excellent Doctoral Award, the BHBP Scholarship of the Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences, the Beijing Excellent Doctoral Dissertation, etc., and many outstanding graduates who stayed in the Institute received the Dean's Award, Youbo Award, Postdoctoral Science Fund and so on. At the same time, they were selected to study with foreign universities in China for many times during their studies.
