FSC, referred to as FSC Certification, or Forest Management Evaluation Committee, is a non-profit international organization initiated by WWF. Its purpose is to unite people all over the world to solve the forest damage caused by improper logging and advocate responsible management and development of forests. Therefore, FSC certification is the entry threshold of the world forest trade network.
FSC/COC certification, that is, production chain certification, is an important form of FSC certification. It is the whole chain supervision and confirmation of wood trade processing enterprises from raw material procurement, storage, production to sales, so as to ensure that wood comes from certified forests, that is, from high-quality management and sustainable development forests.
In addition, since the official implementation of european union timber regulation (EUTR) in March, 20 13, the management of wood products in 27 importing countries in the European Union has become stricter, requiring risk assessment of wood products. Among them, passing FSC certification (FSCCC certification) is the simplest and most effective method.
