1. Determination of candidates: The initial list of candidates usually starts with the richest people and refers to public data sources, such as Chinese mainland Rich List and Top 500 private enterprises. At the same time, we will also consider other entrepreneurs, enterprises, social organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions in the field of charity.
2. Data collection: mainly collect the actual donation data of the previous year, focusing on enterprises or individuals whose actual donation amount exceeds a certain amount. Data sources may include, but are not limited to, public donation announcements, media reports, corporate social responsibility reports, charity records and official statistics.
3. Data verification: verify the collected data to ensure its accuracy and completeness. This may involve direct communication and confirmation with donors, grantees and relevant institutions.
4. Evaluation criteria: set evaluation criteria to measure the charitable contribution of candidates, which may include factors such as donation amount, influence, sustainability, innovation, public acceptance of donated projects, etc. Standards may be adjusted with the development of social welfare undertakings and changes in public expectations.
5. Expert evaluation: organize an expert committee or invite industry experts and scholars to participate in the evaluation, and evaluate and score the charity behavior of candidates. The evaluation process usually takes into account the professionalism, transparency and sense of responsibility of the candidates in the field of charity.
