Ximalaya FM completed Series A financing of US$11.5 million and Series B financing of US$50 million in 2014. At the end of 2015, Himalaya announced that it had completed the dismantling of its VIE structure and planned a domestic IPO.
On June 13, 2016, City Media announced that the company’s board of directors agreed to sign a limited partnership agreement with Qianhai Xingwang, investing 60 million yuan as a limited partner to indirectly invest in Shanghai Stock Exchange through investment funds.
