FTSE refers to the British index company FTSE Group. The industry classification standard developed by FTSE is called the Globe Classification System, which is widely accepted as a global industry standard.

GCS institutions that implement FTSE include the London Stock Exchange, the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong, the Russell Index in the United States, and so on.

FTSE350 refers to an index of shares of the 350 largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
