The Housing Repair Fund has not been eliminated. The maintenance fund for the house generally needs to be paid after the house is handed over. According to the laws of our country, the house maintenance fund is an obligation that owners must fulfill when purchasing a house. It can be directly deposited into a special account for house maintenance funds, or it can be entrusted to a real estate development enterprise to pay on its behalf.

Legal Basis

Article 6 of the "Measures for the Management of Special Residential Maintenance Funds"

The owners of the following properties shall deposit special residential maintenance funds in accordance with the provisions of these Measures :

(1) Residences, except those owned by one owner and which do not share public areas, public facilities and equipment with other properties;

(2) Residential quarters Non-residential within a residential area or connected to a single residential structure outside a residential area.

If the properties listed in the preceding paragraph belong to public housing for sale, the selling unit shall deposit special housing maintenance funds in accordance with the provisions of these measures.
