The School of Finance of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics currently offers three undergraduate majors: Finance, Financial Engineering, and Insurance, as well as a master's degree program in Finance (including actuarial science). Finance is a provincial key discipline, and Insurance is a school-level specialty.

At present, the School of Finance has formed a teaching and research team with a solid foundation, strong ability, vigor and enthusiasm.

There are currently 42 full-time teachers, including 9 professors, 16 associate professors and 16 lecturers, 23 of whom have doctoral degrees (6 have returned from overseas).

Some teachers have also studied abroad in the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and other places.

The School of Finance currently has more than 1,800 undergraduate students and more than 150 graduate students.

The School of Finance actively promotes the construction of financial disciplines, and the teaching quality and scientific research level improve year by year.

He has presided over 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Social Science Fund project, 2 Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Science Fund projects, 2 Ministry of Science and Technology national soft science projects, and more than 80 other ministerial and provincial scientific research projects.

There are 41 award-winning scientific research achievements. In 2008, our school’s financial discipline team was named the “Blue Project” scientific and technological innovation team of universities in Jiangsu Province.

The School of Finance adheres to the employment-oriented approach, constantly optimizes talent training programs, strives to cultivate students' adaptability, practical ability and innovation ability, and comprehensively improves students' comprehensive quality. Graduates are widely welcomed by society.
