Leaf Fund is a fund jointly established by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, relevant departments, local governments and enterprises.

The Leaf Science Fund aims to give full play to the guiding role of the National Natural Science Fund, carry out basic, cutting-edge and exploratory research around the needs of industrial science and technology development, promote the harmonious development of modern engineering technology and basic disciplines, solve the basic scientific problems from 0 to 1, and improve the level of independent innovation in China.
