Promote the healthy development of China.

I. Business scope of public welfare activities of the Foundation:

1. Cooperate with the government and relevant departments to implement STD/AIDS related disease prevention plans and action plans;

3 care for AIDS patients and AIDS patients and vulnerable groups affected by sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS and related diseases.

5. Introduce advanced drugs, medical technology, equipment, health care materials and health care products for the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS and related diseases.

6. Accept the entrustment of relevant organizations and individuals at home and abroad to carry out activities in line with the purpose of the Foundation;

7. Respond to the call of the state and participate in charitable activities such as building a healthy China, disaster relief and anti-epidemic;

8. Carry out other activities consistent with the purpose of the Foundation.

Two, China STD and AIDS Foundation was established with the approval of the Ministry of Health and the People's Bank of China. 1June 2, 9881was established in Guangzhou, and1June 5438+00 was registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs, formerly known as the Global STD/AIDS Foundation. 1994 changed its name to China STD/AIDS Prevention Foundation.

3. The English name of China AIDS Foundation is "China Foundation for the Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS", abbreviated as "CFPSA". Former Minister of Health Dr. Qian Xinzhong, Dr. Ji Pengfei, Zhu Xuefan, Fei Xiaotong, Wang Guangying and other national leaders are all experts in sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS in China. A non-profit social organization composed of social activists and entrepreneurs is a national public offering foundation with independent legal personality. The superior business unit is the National Health and Wellness Commission, and the legal representative is the chairman.

4. The first chairman of China STD/AIDS Prevention Foundation is the former Minister of Health and the founder of the Foundation, Dr. Qian Xinzhong. Honorary Chairman Rong Yiren, Vice Chairman Ji Pengfei, Vice Premier the State Council, Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress Zhu Xuefan and Fei Xiaotong. The second chairman is an academician, the third chairman is Comrade Li, the fourth chairman is Comrade, and the current chairman is Comrade Sun Xinhua, the former CDC of the National Health and Family Planning Commission.
