Professor Peking University said that the birth restriction should be released as soon as possible. Do you support this view?
The number of newborns in China is decreasing year by year. According to the report, as of June 65438+February 3, 2020, there were10035,000 newborns born in 2020 and registered in public security organs, a decrease of1755,000 compared with 20 19 years.

In order to solve this problem, a professor in Peking University suggested that the country should take the lead in fully liberalizing the birth restriction in Northeast China. For this view, I don't think the professor has experienced the sufferings of the people and doesn't understand the real idea of the public not having children. Letting go of the birth restriction can't solve the fundamental problem, but reducing the birth cost is the most important thing. In this regard, I have the following views:

First of all, liberalizing birth restrictions cannot solve the fundamental problem. 20 15 after China fully liberalized its second child, experts predicted that there would be a baby boom, but things did not turn out as expected by experts. China's fertility rate is still declining. Families with two children are mostly older and middle-aged families. As the main force of the best fertility, young families are indifferent to two children, either keeping one child or not. Therefore, the overall liberalization of birth restrictions cannot fundamentally solve the problem of low birth rate.

Second, reducing the cost of childbirth is the most important. Modern young people have no desire to have children. The root cause is that the cost of having children is too high. For women, childbirth will not only hinder their promotion in the workplace, but also be discriminated against, and eventually they have to engage in some simple jobs or give up their jobs completely and return to their families.

For a young couple, once one party loses his job in a big city, the other party has to bear the living expenses of both parties, as well as the expenses of raising children, such as milk powder, diapers and interest classes, which are the mountains that crush the fertility of young people.

Therefore, in order to improve the fertility willingness of school-age couples, the most important thing is to increase maternity allowance, reduce the cost of education and eliminate workplace discrimination against women.
