What level of central enterprises is CDB?
CDB is a central enterprise, specifically a ministerial-level central enterprise. Established in 1994, it is a policy bank and a central financial enterprise led by the State Council. The bank mainly serves the major medium-and long-term development strategy of the national economy through medium-and long-term credit and investment, including CDB Finance, China-Africa Fund and CDB Development Fund. Although many central enterprises and some state-owned enterprises still retain some administrative levels, an enterprise should not have administrative levels in theory.
