Legal basis:

Article 6 of the Measures for the Administration of Youth Science Fund Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China can apply for youth fund projects if the scientific and technical personnel of the supporting units meet the following conditions: (1) They have basic research experience; (two) with senior professional and technical positions (titles) or doctoral degrees, or two scientific and technical personnel with senior professional and technical positions (titles) in the same research field; (3) The date of application was June 5438+1 October1,and the male was under 35 years old and the female was under 40 years old. Scientific and technical personnel engaged in basic research have the conditions specified in the preceding paragraph, and if they have no work unit or their unit is not a supporting unit, they may apply after consulting with and obtaining the consent of the supporting unit. Relying on the unit should be regarded as the scientific and technological personnel of the unit to implement effective management.

"Notice on Printing and Distributing" Article 7 To apply for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars by relying on scientific and technical personnel of units, the following conditions shall be met:

(1) Having China nationality;

(2) He was under 45 years old on June 65438+1 October1of the year of application;

(3) Having good scientific ethics;

(four) with senior professional and technical positions (titles) or with a doctorate;

(5) Having the experience of undertaking basic research projects or engaging in other basic research;

(six) there is no formal employment relationship with overseas units;

(seven) to ensure that during the funding period, the time spent in research work in supporting units is more than 9 months each year.

Young scholars from China who do not have People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality may apply if they meet the conditions in Items (2) to (7) of the preceding paragraph.

Persons who are engaged in research, pursuing postgraduate degrees and receiving funding from the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars at postdoctoral workstations may not apply.
