Can fund companies copy Hong Kong stocks?
At present, the fund can only invest in the stock market and bonds in China.

Only QDII is allowed to invest in the global market.

Bank of China launched the first QDII (overseas wealth management product on behalf of clients) with "overseas partial stock funds" as the investment target-BOC Steady Growth (R), through which mainland residents can invest RMB in the Hong Kong stock market.

China Industrial and Commercial Bank said that QDII products for direct investment in the Hong Kong stock market will be launched from now on.

Among them, no more than 50% of the funds will be invested in China enterprises listed in Hong Kong, including H shares, red chips and newly listed state-owned enterprises, and the rest will be invested in fixed income in Asia.

ICBC had previously obtained a QDII quota of $2 billion.
