Funeral subsidies are paid according to the standard of the average salary of employees in the province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government for six months in the previous year. The pension for dependent relatives shall be paid to the relatives who provided the main source of livelihood before the death. The standard is: the spouse shall pay 40% of the average monthly salary of the province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government in the previous year, other dependent relatives shall pay 30% of the average monthly salary, and the widowed elderly shall pay 10% of the above standard. The total pension shall not exceed the salary of the deceased. When dependent relatives lose their support conditions, they will no longer enjoy pensions.

It integrates the preferential policies of the people's police of various police types, unifies the preferential treatment of the people's police, greatly improves the pension standard, expands the scope of pension, and standardizes the handling procedures of casualty pension.

If the people's police in the judicial administrative system died in the line of duty or due to illness, and the provisions of the Interim Provisions of the Ministry of Human Resources and the Ministry of Finance on subsidies for survivors' living difficulties after the death of staff members of government agencies and institutions are met, the living allowance shall be paid to the survivors by their units.
