In recent years, he has taught geophysical principles, seismology, introduction to solid geophysics, geodynamics, quantitative seismology and other courses for undergraduate and graduate students of Geophysics Department.

Academic research: In scientific research, he undertook and participated in the key projects of China Seismological Bureau during the Eighth Five-Year Plan and the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the Joint Science Fund for Earthquake, the Science and Technology Project of Shaanxi Province, and the National Natural Science Fund, and won many scientific and technological achievement awards at all levels.

He has published more than 50 academic papers in Journal of Geophysics, Journal of Seismology, Earthquake, Seismogeology, Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology Engineering Geology.
