Article 18: If necessary, applicants who have been shortlisted by experts must attend the defense within the time specified in the notice.

Fourteenth: Guangxi Science Foundation project applications are accepted once a year, and the acceptance time is one month.

Article 15: The applicant shall submit the application form and other application materials to the scientific research business management department of his unit for examination and approval. The scientific research business management department is responsible for examining the authenticity of the application form, the necessity of applying for funding, the feasibility of implementing the research plan, the rationality of the budget and whether the unit can guarantee its basic working conditions and time. After signing the specific opinions, it will be sent to the scientific research business management department of the autonomous region or the local Municipal Science and Technology Commission (Science and Technology Bureau) for review and signing.

Article 16: The applicant's unit shall submit the qualified application materials in quadruplicate, the project summary table and the floppy disk of the application form to the District Science and Technology Department (the input software shall be uniformly formulated by the District Science and Technology Department). Do not meet the requirements of these measures or do not do it within the time limit, will not be accepted.

Seventeenth District Science and Technology Department to accept the application of the project form review, the review of the project organization experts.

Two, the applicant should have the conditions:

(a) the applicant must be the person in charge who is really responsible for and engaged in the research work of the application project, with considerable research ability and reliable guarantee of research work time. The applicant and other key members of the project team should participate in the research work for at least 4 months every year.

(2) Applicants for natural funds and returning funds should have senior professional and technical positions (titles) or doctoral degrees; Youth Fund applicants should have intermediate or above professional and technical positions (titles) or doctoral degrees, otherwise they should be recommended by two peer experts with senior professional and technical positions (titles).

(4) The following persons may not be project applicants, but may be members of the project team:

1, graduate students (except in-service doctoral students).

2. Retired researchers.

3. The applicant's part-time scientific research personnel.

(5) There shall be no more than two applicants under research (not yet completed) and applying for the Guangxi Science Foundation project, but the project leader of the postponed project shall not apply for a new project before the project is completed. Each applicant can only apply for one Guangxi Science Foundation project in the same year.

Guangxi Science Fund includes Guangxi Natural Science Fund (Xia Jian Natural Fund), Guangxi Youth Science Fund (Xia Jian Youth Fund) and Guangxi Returned Overseas Students Science Fund (Xia Jian Returned Overseas Fund). The purpose is: to implement the national science and technology development principles and policies, stabilize and strengthen the basic research work in Guangxi, and promote original innovation; Discover and cultivate basic research talents, attract overseas students to return to Guangxi for service and research, increase scientific and technological reserves and talent reserves, enhance the stamina of sustainable scientific and technological innovation, and promote scientific and technological progress and economic and social development in Guangxi. The funds mainly come from the finance of the autonomous region, in which the natural fund and the youth fund are arranged separately from the scientific expenses by the finance of the autonomous region; Repatriation funds are arranged by the Science and Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (hereinafter referred to as the District Science and Technology Department) from the three funds for science and technology. At the same time, we accept donations from domestic and foreign institutions, groups and individuals. Guangxi Science Fund mainly supports basic research and is oriented to the whole region. All scientific and technical personnel working in Guangxi can apply according to these measures.
