Liu Zhiqiang’s study and work experience

In June 2003, he obtained a doctorate degree from the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials of Shandong University and has stayed at the school since then. Main research direction: synthesis and property research of elemental organic and metal-organic optoelectronic functional materials.

In June 2004, he went to the Chemistry Department of Fudan University for postdoctoral research. His co-supervisor was Academician Huang Chunhui. The research topic was photoelectric functional coordination compounds and devices.

In 2007, he was funded by the Royal Society and went to the laboratory of Professor Todd B. Marder of Durham University in the UK for collaborative research. The research topic was organoboron compounds with photoelectric functions.

In 2009, he was funded by the National Study Abroad Fund to collaborate with Professor John A. Gladysz’s research group at Texas A&M University in the United States. The research topic was molecular devices based on metal-organic chemistry.
