Legal analysis: the cost of nucleic acid testing cannot be reimbursed by medical insurance. However, if you participate in the basic medical insurance for urban workers and have a test in a designated medical insurance hospital, and your personal account balance is sufficient, you can pay the cost of nucleic acid testing by swiping a medical insurance card, but you must bear the registration fee yourself. If it is the insured person of urban and rural residents' medical insurance, or the personal account balance of medical insurance is insufficient, then the test can't be swiped with a medical insurance card, so you can only pay for it yourself.

Twenty-sixth basic medical insurance for employees, new rural cooperative medical care and basic medical insurance for urban residents shall be implemented in accordance with state regulations.

Twenty-eighth medical expenses that meet the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency treatment and rescue shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.
