Purpose
The original purpose of the "Gathering Good Carnival" is to commemorate the "International Day of Disabled Persons", which was initiated by Zhuo Yue and overseas Chinese Hong Yiting. Jishan Carnival is a large-scale public welfare activity jointly organized by China Disabled Persons' Federation and China Disabled Persons Welfare Fund on the eve of International Disabled Persons' Day on December 3rd every year. By November 29, Jishan Carnival had raised more than 5 million yuan to support the rehabilitation of the disabled, education, cultural publishing, sports and rehabilitation of the disabled in earthquake-stricken areas.
Zhuo Yue, the founder of Jishan Carnival, said that it will be my lifelong pursuit to engage in charity. I hope more people will care about and support Jishan Carnival and bring more benefits to the disabled.
Theme
"Gathering Good Carnival" has different themes every year:
In p>24, the theme was "For disabled children, the future of the motherland", and three special education schools were funded in Sichuan, which enabled more than 3,5 poor disabled children to return to school.
In p>25, the theme of the activity was "Caring for Blind Children and Bright Action", which funded the construction of special education schools and classes in Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Sichuan and Xinjiang, and published the first complete Braille version of Modern Chinese Dictionary in China.
In p>26, the theme of the activity was "Open your heart and walk with you all the way", which funded the first national research and rehabilitation institution for autistic children, as well as the comprehensive rehabilitation and research project of children's autism by China Rehabilitation Research Center and Peking University Institute of Mental Health.
In p>27, the theme of the event was "Pay attention to the Beijing Paralympic Games and help the China Disabled Sports Delegation", and funded the China Paralympic Committee to purchase equipment for the China Disabled Sports Delegation participating in the 28 Beijing Paralympic Games.
in p>28, the theme of the activity was "funding disabled children in Wenchuan earthquake-stricken areas to assemble artificial limbs and rehabilitation training for paraplegics", which helped the disabled who had been amputated or paraplegic due to the earthquake to compensate and restore their functions in time and enhance their self-care and social adaptability.
The theme of p>29 is "Helping the poor deaf children get out of the silent world". By subsidizing deaf children to wear hearing AIDS and implant cochlear implants, as well as scientific rehabilitation training, we can help them get out of the silent world.
the theme of p>21 is "caring for the children of migrant workers". According to statistics, the number of children of migrant workers in China now reaches 7 million, and it is still growing at the rate of several million every year, among which the number of floating children is also extremely large. This figure means that one out of every five children in China is the child of migrant workers. The quality of life and education of these migrant workers' children are not satisfactory, and they especially need the care of the whole society.
