Generally, all the applications are new, risky and controversial, so the Fund Committee gives a small amount of funding first, usually for one year. You can sum up the results when you finish the work, and then apply to the Fund Committee for further funding before you finish the project. If we are lucky, the Fund Committee will give a director's fund continuous support for one year.
