OTC funds cannot be bought and sold in real time, but OTC funds can be bought and sold in real time. The reason why OTC funds can't buy and sell in real time is because funds mainly invest in a basket of stocks (except money funds and bond funds), and stock prices rise and fall in real time during trading hours, so the price of funds can't be determined in real time. Investors can only calculate the net value of the fund at the close, and the net value generated by the fund on the trading day will not be updated until around 10 on the trading day afternoon. OTC funds T+ 1 are traded, bought on the trading day (within the trading time), and the shares are confirmed on the second trading day according to the net value at the close of the buying day.
On-site funds are traded in real time. Although the floor funds are also a basket of stocks invested, the rise and fall of the floor funds are mainly determined by trading. If you buy more than you sell, the funds will rise, and if you sell more than you buy, the funds will fall. Therefore, the funds in the market, like stocks, are traded in real time according to the market price.
