Policy after the reform of securities examination
According to Announcement No.2 of 20 15 Securities Practitioners Qualification Examination issued by China Securities Industry Association, from July of 20 15, the examination subjects for securities practitioners were changed from five subjects: basic knowledge of securities market, securities trading, securities investment funds, securities investment analysis and securities issuance and underwriting to two subjects: basic laws and regulations of securities market and basic knowledge of financial market.

Old subject grades are valid for a long time

The scores of subjects passed before the reform are valid for a long time. Candidates who have passed the old five subjects can rest assured that they may be divided into different categories of qualification examination and professional examination from the perspective of discipline.

Double track system

The reform adopts a dual-track system. By the end of 20 15, the new and old syllabus and examination content may be used at the same time.

It is recommended to pass five exams.

It is suggested that candidates applying for CIIA pass five securities examinations before the reform. After the reform, the application conditions should be adjusted accordingly. One of the application conditions is "passing the qualification examination for securities practitioners in five subjects".
