David has made outstanding contributions to Yale University. He is an outstanding colleague, a kind old friend and a beloved mentor of many people in our community. His dedication, wisdom and generosity will inspire future generations. It also made Yale legend.

The Legend of Yale

After receiving a doctorate in economics from Yale University in p>198, David worked for salomon brothers and Lehman Brothers. In 1985, he returned to the Leadership Investment Office of Yale University. Under his guidance, Yale's endowment fund produced returns and established his legendary position among institutional investors.

For many years, he has been teaching in Yale Undergraduate College and Yale School of Management. Just this Monday, he and his old friend and colleague Professor DeanTakahashi gave the last investment analysis class of this semester. They have taught this seminar-style course together for 35 years. David is not only one of the founders of Elizabeth Club, but also a member of Berkeley College.

In fact, when he was studying for his Ph.D. at Yale, he worked as a counselor for freshmen at Berkeley College, and kept in touch with those whom he coached decades ago.
