There is no discrimination against graduate students in Anhui University. The school has obvious advantages in humanities and social sciences. In the past three years, the number of major projects of the National Social Science Fund and Chinese academic translation projects of the National Social Science Fund has ranked first in the province, ranking among the top universities in China. The first batch of Huizhou Research Center, the key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, was established.

The school collected nearly 70,000 Huizhou literatures, took the lead in setting up an innovation alliance of provincial universities, and cooperated with provincial universities to set up Xin 'an Medicine, Huizhou Architecture and Huizhou Literature Sub-centers, leading provincial universities to study, protect and inherit Huizhou culture. Approved by the Ministry of Education, the first batch of national language and writing promotion bases won five first prizes in humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education.
