Compared with other grants, CNOOC grant not only provides financial assistance, but also embodies the spirit of public welfare. CNOOC subsidizes 36 students every year, each with a price of 3,000 yuan, which can be continuously subsidized after passing the examination.

The CNOOC Scholarship for College Students was jointly established by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and China Offshore Oil Corporation, directly affiliated to the Ministry of Education, to help poor college students complete their studies.
