He graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Jilin University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in science, obtained a master's degree in chemistry of Jilin University in 199, and obtained a doctor's degree in chemistry of Jilin University in 1996. From January 1997 to January 1999, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the postdoctoral mobile station of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently the director of the Key Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry in Jilin Province, the director of the Chemistry Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jilin Province, the member of the Academic Committee of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the director of the new drug research laboratory, and the project leader of the new drug research group of traditional Chinese medicine.
