The World Hepatitis Alliance was formally established on June 5438+065438+1October 4, 2007. It is a non-governmental organization that aims to raise the world's awareness of viral hepatitis and is promoted by representatives from seven regions around the world (Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, South America, Australia and the Western Pacific). The chairman of the alliance is Charles Gore of the British Hepatitis C Foundation.
