Candidates who have passed the fund qualification examination can apply to China Asset Management Association for fund qualification registration within four years through their institutions. Those who have not applied for fund qualification registration through institutions for more than four years need to complete the follow-up training hours specified in the last two years or re-take the qualification examination before registration.
The fund qualification examination was organized by China Asset Management Association in 2003, which is a part of the qualification examination system for securities practitioners. The qualification examination for fund practitioners is based on practical application, which mainly assesses the essential basic knowledge and professional skills of fund practitioners, covering seven basic knowledge such as fund industry overview and investment management.
Three courses are required for the qualification examination of funds, with 60 points for each course, namely, subject 1, Fund Laws and Regulations, Professional Ethics and Business Standards, subject 2, Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Funds and subject 3, Basic Knowledge of Private Investment Funds, in which subject 1 is required, and subject 2 and subject 3 are optional.
Examination evaluation:
First, the "securities investment fund" examination results recognition.
Those who have passed the securities investment fund examination organized by the securities industry association within four years and passed the first subject of the fund industry association may apply to the fund industry association for the qualification of registered fund practice through their institutions. Those who have not passed Subject 1 of the Fund Industry Association for more than four years need to re-participate in Subject 1 and Subject 2 of the Fund Industry Association.
2 "Securities Investment Fund" and "Securities Market Basis" examination results recognition.
Those who have passed the securities investment fund and securities market basic examination of the Securities Industry Association shall apply to the fund industry association for the qualification of registered fund within four years through their institutions.
Those who have not applied for the qualification of registered fund to the fund industry association through their institutions for more than four years need to pass the qualification examination of the fund industry association, or apply for the qualification of registered fund to the fund industry association through their institutions after completing the required follow-up training hours in the last two years.
3. "Basic Knowledge of Fund Sales" examination results recognition.
The qualification of fund sales is recognized by those who have passed the examination subject "Basic Knowledge of Fund Sales" and worked in relevant institutions.
