The 2018 fund practitioner qualification certificate examination schedule has been announced. Eight examinations will be held a year, including five appointment-based examinations and three national unified examinations.

Compared with the unified examination, the appointment-based examination has fewer test centers and fewer registration slots.

The arrangements for the 2018 Fund Practitioner Qualification Examination are as shown in the table below. Candidates can log in to the Fund Industry Association to register for the exam within the specified time.

Extended information: Since 2003, the Fund Practitioner Qualification Examination, as part of the securities practitioner qualification examination system, has been organized by the Securities Association of China.

In order to implement the new "Fund Law", at the end of January 2015, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice on Re-issuing the Administrative Fee Items of the China Securities Regulatory Commission", which clarified the requirements for the fund industry association to organize the qualification examination for fund practitioners.

Since then, the Fund Practitioners Qualification Examination has been officially transferred from the Securities Industry Association to the Fund Industry Association.

In order to adapt to the development of the industry under the new situation, the Asset Management Association has drawn on domestic and overseas experience and adjusted the examination content based on feedback from all parties over the years.

The adjusted examination focuses on practical applications and mainly tests the basic knowledge and professional skills necessary for fund practitioners.

The examination content covers seven basic parts of knowledge: overview of the fund industry, laws, regulations and professional ethics, investment management, operation management, sales management, internal control and compliance management, and internationalization.

The China Asset Management Association never releases the questions and answers for the Fund Practitioner Qualification Examination.
