Song Yuming is a senior venture capitalist and founder of Century Ark Capital. Song Yuming served as Director of Foreign Investment Department of the Ministry of National Petroleum of China and General Manager of PetroChina International Region. In the meantime, he independently founded and led Dalian Zhonglian Petroleum, the first large-scale import and export company of China Petroleum, and founded Zhonglian Optical Petroleum, the first Sino-foreign joint venture oil company in China.

He used to be the executive vice president of Xinaote Technology Group, the director and president of Baizhuang Holdings, the chairman of Synergy Digital Co., Ltd., the chairman of Kechuang Investment Management Company, the head of the preparatory group of China Tianyu Petroleum Holdings, and the director and president of Zhongkunheng Energy Technology Investment Company.

Personal Experience of Founder of Century Ark

1982 graduated from the Finance Department of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and was assigned to the Ministry of Petroleum Industry (later PetroChina). He used to be the head and deputy director of the Japanese loan project of the Foreign Investment Department of the Finance Department. During this period, 1990 was selected by the state to study in the China Industrial Finance Seminar of the Bank of Japan.

1992 participated in the establishment of the national oil company (PetroChina International), a joint venture between PetroChina and the Ministry of Commerce. Previous positions: Director of China Petroleum International Trading Company, Deputy General Manager of Finance Department, Chairman and General Manager. Established the first port company and regional subsidiary of China oil import and export trade.

1996 resigned successively: Vice President of Xinaote Group, Executive Vice President of Huarui Investment Group (predecessor of Hanergy Group) and Chairman of Zhongshi Investment Company, and went to Canada to study venture capital.

1999 The joint investor founded Century Ark Investment Co., Ltd. (and five corporate funds) as the first president, and concurrently served as the president of Baizhuang Holdings, the chairman of Collaborative Digital Co., Ltd., the chairman of Kechuang Investment Fund, and the director of Guangji Pharmaceutical, a listed company.
