There are mainly the following four situations: First, retirees are paid Spring Festival holiday expenses.

As the Spring Festival approaches in January, retired elderly people in Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places will receive the Spring Festival holiday allowance (some places call it a one-time Spring Festival holiday subsidy).

Currently, only Ningbo City provides a one-time Spring Festival holiday allowance of 2,000 yuan to corporate retirees, while the standard for local urban and rural residents receiving pension insurance benefits is only 400 yuan or 200 yuan.

The standard Spring Festival fee in Hangzhou is 1,200 yuan, but there are also 800 yuan each for Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival.

The standard Spring Festival fee in Shanghai is 900 yuan for those over 80 years old and 800 yuan for those under 80 years old.

The standard Spring Festival fees in Guangzhou and other places are 50 yuan and 100 yuan.

The Spring Festival holiday fee is a subsidy benefit. It was also a benefit established before the provincial coordination of pension insurance in various places, and it has been maintained until now.

For example, Hangzhou City is not burdened by the pension insurance fund, but by the financial burden.

Second, the difference in recalculation of some elderly pensions will be repaid.

According to national regulations, those who retire this year must use this year’s pension calculation base to calculate their basic pension.

However, due to the late announcement of the calculation and payment base figures in many provinces such as Zhejiang, Inner Mongolia, and Fujian, the pension benefits of this year's retirees have not been straightened out yet.

Therefore, some areas will repay the difference in pension benefits to the elderly who have retired this year in January.

The affected part of the pension recalculation is mainly the part linked to the pension calculation and payment base, and the pension is not adjusted uniformly and proportionally.

The difference in pension repayment is calculated based on the recalculated increase multiplied by the number of months the pension has been paid according to the old standard.

The difference in reissue may be as large as two to three thousand yuan, while the difference in reissue may be as small as tens of yuan.

Of course, elderly people who retired before this year will not be compensated with the difference.

Third, winter heating subsidies are issued.

Winter heating expenses are a subsidy similar to Spring Festival expenses in many northern provinces.

For example, Shandong Province is 1,700 yuan, Hebei Province is 1,240 yuan, 1,400 yuan and 1,560 yuan, Shaanxi Province is 2,360 yuan, Shaanxi Province is 3,360 yuan, Qinghai Province is 3,900 yuan, and Ningxia Autonomous Region is 4,563 yuan and 3,120 yuan.

For example, in Henan Province, it is 120 yuan per month, which is paid monthly, with 60 yuan each being paid in March and November.

For the elderly who retire in December this year, the winter heating expenses will be paid together with the pension in January.

Therefore, these elderly people will receive such a treatment.

If combined with the previous benefits, it is indeed possible to receive an additional 2,000 yuan.

Fourth, local visit consolation money.

The Spring Festival is one of the most important festivals in our country.

During this festival, not only the government will visit and express condolences, but some enterprises, village collectives, charity funds or individuals will also conduct certain visit and condolences activities.

For example, Heping Village, Dongping Street, Yuetang District, Xiangtan City, condolences the elderly residents of the area where women are over 55 years old and men are over 60 years old. The consolation money distributed is 100 to 500 yuan.

For example, after some rural communities with collective economies carry out joint-stock reform, they will also distribute dividends to residents.

For example, my colleague's parents received a one-time payment of more than 2,000 yuan during the Spring Festival last year because they were older and held more community shares.

At present, the various treatment situations for retired elderly people across the country are relatively complicated, but there are always various preferential treatment and care policies for the elderly.
