The major breakthrough in uranium exploration in Daying, Central Inner Mongolia, mainly benefits from the innovation of the exploration idea of "coal-uranium exploration" of the Central Geological Prospecting Fund, that is, optimizing the combined exploration technology according to the regional mineral distribution law, and exploring the possibility of sandstone-type uranium deposits while conducting coal exploration. After discovering and delineating a series of major uranium prospecting targets, we made a decisive decision and launched a tough battle for uranium exploration. The Central Geological Exploration Fund Management Center has organized 4 exploration teams, 28 drilling rigs and more than 500 exploration technicians and constructors, respectively belonging to China National Nuclear Corporation, China Coal Geology Bureau, Inner Mongolia Land and Resources Department and Geological Exploration Bureau. They fought for 300 days in the cold and hot summer, carefully organized and scientifically constructed, and achieved a rapid and major breakthrough in uranium exploration in Britain.
