Growth and development of brain and spinal cord in goats before birth

Development of brain and spinal cord in goats before birth

Xu Yongping Qing Suzhu Zhang Yong Zhao Huiying Peng Pu Zheng Yuemao

Abstract: the related indexes of fetal brain and spinal cord of 6 ~ 2 1 week goat were determined, and the growth curve was drawn. The results showed that the growth and development of goat fetal brain and spinal cord had a periodic change law of alternating speed. The growth rate of goat fetal brain in the early stage of development is faster than that of spinal cord in the same period. Before birth, the development of goat brain showed unbalanced characteristics in three directions: length, width and height. Time, quantity and quantity of growth peak in different segments of spinal cord.
