Yuan studied painting since childhood and graduated from Raffles International College in Singapore. Over the years, he has been influenced by overseas cultures such as Europe and America. Later, he devoted himself to the in-depth study of color psychology, color composition, light and color, integrated the characteristics of eastern and western art, and dissolved the understanding of philosophy into color aesthetics and color psychology. She has gained rich color feelings in her persistent pursuit of art and is a unique and far-reaching female artist in the field of color art.

Yuan is good at oil painting and pastel painting with the theme of color application and human philosophy. His works are distinctive in color and style, making good use of pictures to reflect time, environment and atmosphere, setting off the themes of philosophy and art, forming the artistic conception of pictures, and then revealing the essence and pursuit of art.

Oil paintings such as Silence, A Hundred Years Together, Blue Lotus, The Rise and Fall of Life and Doomsday Listening are sought after by many units and collectors at home and abroad. Autumn, the masterpiece in the time series, was auctioned by the influential domestic charities True Love Dream Fund and Meng Fund respectively, and all the proceeds were used for improving children's lives and campus construction in underdeveloped areas. The oil paintings "Morning Flower" and "Blue Bottle" were collected by Xiangjiang Gallery.
