The China Foundation for Desertification Control (CFDC) is a corporate organization approved by the State Council and registered with the People's Government of China and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

It is the first national public foundation in China with the purpose of promoting the development of public welfare undertakings related to desertification control.

The foundation aims to raise and receive donations from natural persons, legal persons, and other organizations in accordance with the law, implement public welfare projects and related activities for desertification control, carry out scientific research, publicity and education, talent training, academic exchanges, ecological protection, etc. on desertification control, and promote desertification in China.
