(2) Provident Fund Account Cancellation When canceling a provident fund account, in addition to the provident fund card, you must also bring the original and copy of your Canadian passport, the original and copy of the certificate of cancellation of household registration, a copy of your ID card or a copy of your Chinese passport.

After the provident fund management center passes the final review, they will cancel the account and withdraw all the provident funds in the account to you.

2. Pensions and medical insurance Since pensions and medical insurance are collectively referred to as social insurance in China (generally they are located in the same building), therefore, if you want to withdraw all your pensions, you must first go through the cancellation procedures for medical insurance.

If not, you have to go to the medical insurance center to get the "Basic Medical Insurance Reduction Personnel List" and go through the relevant procedures with the original certificate to prove that you have terminated the contract with the original unit.

Even if you have spent all the money in the medical insurance card before going abroad, if you want to withdraw the money in the pension insurance in one lump sum, you must go through the cancellation procedures for the medical insurance.

If you are unable to apply for a certificate of termination of the contract from your original employer, you must make up for all unpaid medical insurance before the time of cancellation of the account, and then you can cancel the account (for example, if you immigrated to Canada in 2001 and returned to China in 2005

(2) Pension account cancellation is a prerequisite for medical insurance account cancellation.
