Going abroad is not for the state to help you contact a good school and send you directly. In fact, before you get the offer, the whole process is similar to other applicants. You take the GT test yourself, contact the school and tutor yourself, submit your application yourself, and get the admission through your own efforts. Only after getting the admission, the school may only give you free tuition but not living expenses, or give you very little, which is not enough for your study abroad. At this time, you can apply to the National Foundation for Studying Abroad, and let them subsidize your living expenses during your study abroad. This is the so-called national public school. To put it bluntly, after you get the admission yourself, the state will buy you a plane ticket to send you out, and then provide you with financial help on a regular basis. Your obligation is to return to China for two years after graduation.
There is an application time for going abroad on business every year, usually from March 20 to April 5, and the results will be announced in May. In other words, if you want to go abroad, you need to meet the following two necessary conditions:
1) The school you applied for cooperates with the National Scholarship Fund Committee.
2) You need to get the admission notice of the school at least before April 5th.
