According to Li Fenfa, director of the Housing Security Department of Xiamen Housing Security and Housing Administration, since Xiamen vigorously promoted the construction of affordable housing in 2006, the basic housing needs of 35,000 low-and middle-income families in this city have been solved through affordable rental housing. According to the relevant policies, if the family belongs to the lower-middle income family and the family income is above the annual income control standard of low-income families, it will be subsidized according to 40% of the rent standard of social security housing market; Belonging to low-income families, the family income is more than 0.5 times the income control standard of low-income families, and subsidies are given according to 70% of the rent standard of social security housing market; Belonging to low-income families, the family income is 0.5 times or less of the income control standard of low-income families, and the subsidy is 80% of the rent standard of social security housing market; Poor people who belong to the minimum living security object and decentralized support apply for families, and they are subsidized according to 90% of the social security housing market rent standard. At the same time, the lowest-income families and low-income families are given 80% and 40% property fee subsidies respectively.

In addition, if the family income of social security housing is lower than the income control standard of low-income families for nearly 12 months due to accidental disability or death, serious illness, etc. During the lease period, you can apply to the sub-district office or the town people's government for 50% of the self-paid rent as a special rent subsidy, and the district-level housing security administrative department will examine and approve and sign a special rent subsidy contract.
