However, the funds screened by the 4433 selection method also have some disadvantages.

through observation, we will find that among several performance standards of the 4433 fund selection method, the standard of short-term performance accounts for a relatively high proportion. On average, we may select mainly the one-year funds that perform better among similar funds.

Moreover, the 4433 selection method only considers the performance ranking of funds, ignoring the risks of funds and different types of funds, so it may be impossible to select funds that meet their own risk preferences, that is, the matching degree between funds and themselves is not so high.

in addition, the 4433 fund selection method is a very mechanical fund selection method, and the standard is fixed, which may lead to missing some good quality funds. For example, some funds may have good long-term performance, but because they may be affected by market style switching or other emergencies, the ranking of funds in the short term is not very ideal. For example, the ranking in the last three months is relatively low, which may be rejected.
